Summit Floor and Wall Coverings Ltd. was incorporated in December of 1993. Our mission is to “Provide quality floor covering products and the best possible service to exceed the expectations of our customers in Essex County.”

We are a full service-flooring store with a range of products that include carpet, no wax vinyl flooring, hardwood, cork products, ceramic tile, laminate products and a wide range of commercial flooring. These all can  be installed by our qualified technicians with a 36 month guarantee.

Our key people are:

Rick "Marty" Martinello who is our owner/operator. Marty has over 35 years experience in the floor-covering field, both sales and operations. Marty is also active in several community and charitable organizations. Rick "Maz" Masaro joined Summit Flooring after several years working in the United States and Canada. Rick has over 40 years experience in the floor covering industry as an Insurance and Contract Carpet Specialist. Andrea Switzer is our "Showroom Floor Manager" with 12 years experience at Summit Flooring.  All clerical duties are the responsibility of our receptionist Patty Badour. Rich Martinello is part of our sales team and will work closely with Marty and Rick in all areas of the flooring industry. Meredith Baldwin, with 25 years of experience, is responsible for the accounting functions of our company. Mark St. Louis is our "Dispatcher". Mark's responsibilities include all warehouse functions along with sales and dispatch duties.He has over 30 years experience in the flooring industry. Mark is assisted by Vince Wijsman and Jamie Martinello who handle all the daily warehouse duties.  Our qualified installation crews combined have over 100 years experience in the business.

Customer Base:

Our customer base is very broad since we count on the Community with a retail base, the City of Windsor, the University of Windsor, Canterbury College, several New Home Contractors, Property Management companies and Insurance companies for the bulk of our business. Our territory includes all of Essex and Kent Counties and with exception installations as far as Toronto area.

Summit Floor and Wall Coverings are a company who prides ourselves on customer satisfaction.
