High Jinks Indoor Playcare and Imaginarium is located at 13496 Tecumseh Rd. E, St. Clair Shopping Center (Zehr’s Plaza).  We are an exciting new addition to the Windsor Essex County Children's Entertainment scene.  We opened our doors in May 2012.
As the owner, Darlene Babineau I can tell you that my goal is to have all children that are old enough to say “I want my birthday party at High Jinks!” We offer children from 0-12 yrs. old active, old fashioned child’s play in an exciting facility that aims to please both child and caregiver.  Even grandparents enjoy coming to High Jinks with their grandchildren.  Whether you come for open play, book a party, or drop off the kids and leave them here for a few hours we are bound to please!
For the children, the facility offers many new exciting things to do that actually keep them engaged and mobile the whole time that they are here.  Take for instance the virtual interactive sports court.  Images of balloons to pop or hockey pucks to score with keep them moving and having real group fun!  Next to that darkened room is a basketball sports court.  I love seeing mom shoot some baskets with their kids! The miniature treadmills, bikes and an elliptical machine make up another pocket of fun and has been a real hit.  The 2 story climber can be considered the anchor of the play facility.  It features a zip line, tunnels, slides and giant balls that roll a child across the netted bridge on the way to the tree house. The soft contained play area gives parents peace of mind while their children explore, join in in a game of tag or pretend to be Indiana Jones while avoiding the giant boulder.  The smaller ones can get some tummy time in the toddler area that has room enough for moms to gather round in their baby groups chatting while the slightly older ones explore a soft contained play structure designed for their needs.
For Parents we offer free Wifi and a healthy café where makes truly delicious baked goods, pastry and various savory items such as grilled sandwiches, pizza, and kids finger snacks.  Listed below are three things we strive to provide for our customers:

The first is Safety - With children of our own we know how parents worry about the safety of their own children.  We want an environment where every precaution is taken to make sure that kids who want to play can without their parents wringing their hands while they watch.

The second is Cleanliness - Our place has to be clean enough that parents will notice.  We get one chance with most people to show them what our standards are and we want everyone to be impressed with how we do things.

The third is Customer Service - We want everyone who walks through our door to feel special.  Kids are going to be excited by just seeing the equipment that we have but we don’t want to be the place the parents bring them to begrudgingly.  We want to be active in helping the families who need assistance, but not in the way of families who are enjoying their time together.
Different and still developing is our tagline referring to 'Playcare' which is our supervised 1/2 and Full Day childcare program.  Also check us out for our featured Drop & Shop or our monthly Parents’ Night Out. Leave the kids with us while you run errands during the day or get some alone time on a Friday evening.  This is a win for the kids as well because they love coming to High Jinks!
We hosted a rockin’ Summer camp program and will do the same for all school breaks and PA days. We have started a before and after school program this September and still have room.
And as always High Jinks offers great Birthday Parties, Slumber Parties, Moblie Parties, Field Trips, Special Events and other exciting activities for parents and children. In our Imaginarium programming we feature Art and Science Workshops, Photo shoots, dance and fitness sessions, lot’s to do to stimulate and entertain the active child in your life.
